Reticle Management at its best.

New RSM version 3.3

 The new RSM version is ready and already in production at some customers. The following abstract gives an overview of some of the the new features and enhancements. Feel free to contact us for further details.

General features:

  • RSM is now available for SUN solaris
  • Improved state model support
    provides for different state models per reticle, user ticketing system for state transitions, configurable with RSM/WEB
  • Improved trigger mechanism
    provides for program or shell script execution based on events which can be configured by the user. For example: sending emails, executing scripts, displaying messages, queuing reticles, etc. It is Fully user configurable.
  • Waiver tracking
  • High availability (HA)
    RSM is running productive on a SUN cluster with high availability (HA) software.
  • Windows Print Server support
    provides for label printing, pellicle damage forms, shipment paperwork, etc.
  • Oracle 8i/9i
    RSM is integrated in production with a remote database server (Oracle 8i/9i).
  • RSM is now using Java 1.4

New interfaces:

  • Integration of a DMS reticle stocker.
  • C/C++ communication API providing for remote access to the RSM based on the VFEI 2.2 protocol.
    The API can be provided including source code.
  • Oracle PL/SQL pipe to socket adaptor for SQL triggers
    This allows database triggers to communicate with an RSM system through RSM's remote API.
  • Full blown CELLWorks Administrator using the SDT.
    Implementation does not depend on a particular middle ware.
  • Integration with TIBCO Rendezvous 6.

GUI features:

  • Very fast loading of reticle selector
    30.000+ Reticles in production at one site.
  • Reticle selector export function
    allows importing the customer defined reticle selector contents into spreadsheet applications like M$ Excel.
  • Reticle Selector improved wild card filtering
  • Virtually unlimited number of GUIs (limited only by system memory)
  • Mouse wheel support
  • Storage locations now support sub locations
  • etc.

RSM/WEB features:

  • State model editor
  • Web wizard for easy modeling of customer specific procedures
  • All hypertext reports can be downloaded as CSV file for use in spreadsheet applications like e.g. M$ Excel.
  • Configurable access to all functions in RSM/WEB, based on user ID or user groups.
    (e.g. guest account for read only access)

New reports:

  • RSM provides reports to identify unnecessary reticle movements and kittings.
  • End-of-shift reports for clean up and change of shift
  • etc.
